George Michail: The Young Dragons are the future business leaders of Cyprus

Welcoming dignitaries, members of the business community, and the promising entrepreneurs nominated for a CBN Young Dragon Award, the CEO of organiser IMH, George Michail told audiences that the Young Dragons are “the future business leaders of Cyprus.”

Speaking at the Awards ceremony at Nicosia Municipal Theatre, Michail said, “I would like to welcome you all to the 2nd CBN Young Dragon Awards, our exciting, and inspiring, annual awards ceremony, celebrating young talent, potential and early achievement in Business.”

He went on to say, “Now, what is a Young Dragon … in the realm of Business? Young Dragons are professionals, executives and entrepreneurs, under the age of 40, who have demonstrated outstanding achievements, leadership skills and a commitment to having a positive impact on their companies and on the broader business community. They are the early achievers, the highflyers, the talented and the ambitious. They are the professionals under 40 who have shown exceptional accomplishments. They are the future business leaders of Cyprus.”

As the CEO continued, the awards are organised by CBN (Cyprus Business News), the English-language business portal of IMH which, he underlined, “has always striven to inspire and empower a new era of young business leaders, who are reshaping industries and pushing boundaries.”

Noting that there were 30 candidates in the award ceremony, “30 outstanding professionals. 30 young dragons,” Michail emphasised they should all be very proud of their achievements. “For us, all tonight’s nominees are winners. So, my congratulations go to all, wishing you every success in your professional lives,”  the CEO said.
