Empowering the next generation of female leaders has taken center stage in Cyprus as the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation officially launches the second cohort of FEM 2.0 (Future Empowered Minds). This year, the international program solidifies its roots in Cyprus through a strategic academic partnership with CIM-Cyprus Business School and the participation of local youth.
As noted in a relevant press release, following a record-breaking recruitment season with 7,663 expressions of interest, 78 exceptional young women were selected for the 2026 cohort. The program features a strong contingent of participants from Cyprus, alongside peers from the UK, Spain, Poland, and beyond.
A Bridge Between Nicosia, Limassol, and the Global Stage
FEM 2.0 is an intensive, free digital journey focused on leadership, financial literacy, and mental resilience. The program’s presence in Cyprus is not only digital; a key highlight for this year’s cohort is the intensive offline FEM Leadership Camp held in Cyprus, where international participants will gather on the island to network and develop social impact projects.
Yangos Hadjiyannis, CEO of CIM-Cyprus Business School, emphasised the importance of this academic-social synergy, "Academic rigor combined with practical leadership is what the modern world demands. By providing these girls with access to world-class business education here in Cyprus, we are ensuring that the next generation of innovators is prepared to lead with both heart and strategy."
Global Expertise: From London to Limassol
The 2026 cohort also benefits from the support of SteelRose Legal Ltd, a London-based law firm that has joined as a corporate social responsibility partner. This collaboration brings British legal expertise to the Mediterranean, offering a unique prize: a mentorship trip to London for top-performing participants, the press release pointed out.
Kateryna Biloruska, Founder of the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation, stated, "We are building a network where a girl from Kyiv can collaborate with a peer in Limassol or London to solve global problems. The success of FEM 2.0 is underpinned by this unique collaboration between the non-profit sector, academic excellence like CIM, and professional expertise from firms like SteelRose."
Exclusive Benefits for the 2026 Cohort
Designed to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity, the program provides participants with:
- The FEM Leadership Camp in Cyprus: An immersive offline experience for networking and skill-building.
- Academic Excellence: Access to business education modules supported by CIM-Cyprus Business School.
- International Mentorship: Direct sessions with role models and legal experts.
- Professional Certification: Official English language certificates and a toolkit in financial literacy.
- Global Mobility: The chance to travel to London for a "behind-the-scenes" look at the legal world.
Investing in the Future of the Community
"By integrating Cyprus-based academic expertise with global professional mentorship, FEM 2.0 proves that investment in female education is the most effective tool for long-term societal change. The program sets a new benchmark for how international NGOs and local businesses can collaborate to foster education without limits," the press release concluded.
