The total sales of petroleum products recorded an annual increase of 5.6% in November 2025, reaching 119,953 tonnes, according to data released by CySTAT.
Increases were recorded in the supply of petroleum to ships (97.4%) and aircraft (27.5%), as well as in sales of asphalt (42.8%), diesel fuel (1.9%) and gasoline (0.4%). On the other hand, declines were noted in sales of light and heavy fuel oil (-44.6% and -39.4% respectively), kerosene (-39.8%), heating oil (-22.2%) and liquefied petroleum gas (-18.3%). As regards sales through petrol stations in particular, these fell by 5.0% to 55,670 tonnes.
Total petroleum product sales in November 2025, compared with October 2025, decreased by 15.3%. Indicatively, supplies of fuel to aircraft fell by 40.0%, while sales of gasoline and diesel dropped by 12.4% and 10.0% respectively. Total petroleum product stocks at the end of November 2025 increased by 3.3% compared with the end of the previous month.
During the period January–November 2025, total petroleum product sales rose by 4.8% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
