The project manager's study for the terminal at Vasiliko is expected on Friday, 18 December, according to the Minister of Energy, Michael Damianos, who stated that the study will be delivered to Natural Gas Infrastructure Company (ETYFA) and the next steps of the project will be decided accordingly.
In fact, speaking to the CyBC's third radio channel, he revealed that the United Arab Emirates, which is generally interested in investments in energy and in the Cypriot EEZ, has expressed interest in investing in the project.
However, he clarified that an initial discussion took place and everything will depend on the study that will be delivered with the government's decisions to follow.
