Deputy Minister of Shipping, Marina Hadjimanolis, is departing for Brussels to participate in the EU Council of Transport Ministers on Thursday, 4 December.
During the Council, Hadjimanolis will participate in a discussion regarding the adoption of global measures for the decarbonisation of shipping and will present the work program of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU on maritime transport issues.
During her visit, the Deputy Minister will also hold a series of bilateral meetings with counterparts from other EU Member States, including with Denmark, which currently holds the Presidency of the Council, as well as with Ireland, which will assume the Presidency of the Council on 1 July 2026.
