Deputy Minister of Shipping Marina Hadjimanolis is in London, where she will participate, as head of the Cypriot delegation, in the 34th Assembly of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
Hadjimanolis will address the IMO General Assembly on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, an announceemnt from her Ministry notes.
As part of the IMO Assembly, elections will be held to elect the organisation's new Council for the two-year period 2026-2027, where Cyprus is a candidate for re-election.
The Deputy Minister of Shipping, on the occasion of Cyprus' candidacy, will host a reception for the delegations of the countries participating in the IMO Assembly.
During her visit, the Deputy Minister will have a series of bilateral meetings with her counterparts, and also meet with the Secretary-General of the IMO, Arsenio Dominguez.
