The Cyprus real estate market remains on an upward trajectory, with property sales recording positive signs in all cities.
According to Department of Lands and Surveys data, the number of property sales for October 2025 amounted to 1,638 Cyprus-wide compared to 1,318 in October 2025, recording an increase of 24%. For the period January - October 2025, the number of sales documents submitted increased by 14%, reaching 14,811 compared to 12,952 in the corresponding period last year.
Limassol maintains momentum
Limassol remains at the top of the Cypriot real estate market, with 490 sales in October this year compared to 402 in October last year, recording an increase of 22%, while for the first ten months of the year, the nuymber of sales documents stood at 4,646 compared to 4,093 in the same period of 2024, recording an increase of 14%.
Nicosia follows, with 372 property sales in October 2025 compared to 297 in October 2024, showing an increase of 25%, while for the period January - October 2025, the number of sales documents submitted increased by 16% to 3,363 compared to 2,890 in the corresponding period last year.
Positive signs in all cities
The dynamics in Larnaca are similar, where property sales in October this year increased by 20%, reaching 342 compared to 284 in October last year, while in the first ten months of the year, sales documents amounted to 3,211 compared to 2,781 in the same period of 2024, showing an increase of 15%.
Property sales in Paphos increased by 24% in October 2025, reaching 338 compared to 272 in October 2024. Regarding the period January - October 2025, sales documents amounted to 2,869 from 2,554 in the corresponding period last year, marking an increase of 12%.
The largest increase (52%) was recorded in the free Famagusta area, with 96 sales in October this year compared to 63 in October last year, while for the first ten months of 2025, the number of sales documents submitted increased by 14%, reaching 722 from 634 in the same period in 2024.
