Anna Charalambous: “Resistance to change is a problem, sacrificed in the name of short-term profit”

Anna Charalambous, Director of Robura & Remaps, took to the “Innovators Stage” during INSPIRE 2025 to speak about the need for evolution in the real estate sector and presented Robura, the platform she created to offer 360° services aimed at providing a comprehensive picture of property characteristics and data.

“Despite the challenges, the sector remains stable and full of potential. But today, to get a single piece of information about a property, you have to visit ten different departments. This must change,” she explained.

According to Charalambous, “Resistance to change, in the name of short-term profit—at the expense of transparency—” is the greatest challenge she has identified in the industry.

Advice to young entrepreneurs

In her business philosophy, Charalambous emphasises adaptability, consistency, and respect for the market. Her advice to young entrepreneurs?

“Today you may be doing something well, but tomorrow the conditions will change. You must adapt the quality of your services—always with the customer at the centre.”

The panel “The Innovators Stage”, held at the 360 Building on Makariou Avenue, was moderated by Katerina Economidou, Manager of the Cards Centre, Bank of Cyprus.
