When Marine Duverger joined Apollo in October 2024 as Client Portfolio Manager, she took on a role at the very heart of the firm’s Private Credit platform — covering Apollo’s Private Credit solutions for Wealth clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
But her journey to Apollo was anything but ordinary. Duverger began her career at Société Générale (Newedge) in Prime Brokerage Sales, where she learned to navigate fast-moving markets and demanding clients. From there, she moved into H2O Asset Management, where for more than six years she served as Senior Client Portfolio Manager, shaping investment strategies across global fixed income and alternative products.
Before joining Apollo, she spent several years at Citi Global Wealth as Senior Vice President and Investment Specialist, advising high-net-worth clients on sophisticated investment structures and cross-asset strategies.
That breadth of experience — from institutional clients to private wealth, from asset management to global banking — gives Duverger a unique lens through which to view the evolution of modern finance. She understands both the macro forces shaping the market and the personal priorities driving investor decisions.
