On the sidelines of the Maritime Cyprus 2025 Conference, Deputy Minister of Shipping Marina Hadjimanolis held a series of bilateral meetings with her counterparts from Greece and Bahrain, as well as with the European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism.
With the Greek Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, Vasilis Kikilias, they discussed the challenges of global shipping and reaffirmed the excellent cooperation between Cyprus and Greece within the framework of Intergovernmental Cooperation.

With the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications of Bahrain, H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, they reviewed recent developments following the two Ministers’ meeting in Saudi Arabia, as well as the joint actions that will form an integral part of the Memorandum of Understanding on maritime issues, which is expected to be finalized and signed soon.

Finally, the Deputy Minister of Shipping met with the European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, where they discussed the priorities of the Cypriot Presidency of the EU Council, as well as issues concerning the competitiveness of EU shipping.
