The submission of nominations through the open call for the 2nd CBN Young Dragon Awards has exceeded all expectations with over 200 nominations put forward.
The interest in submitting nominations to the institution presented by Cyta Business and which highlights and rewards professionals and business executives under the age of 40, who, through their achievements and leadership skills, are leaving a strong mark on the business scene of Cyprus, was particularly impressive, with 213 nominations submitted.
The CBN Young Dragon Awards return for the second consecutive year to reward talent, skills and those who, with their professional actions are changing the game in the organisations they serve. The Awards ceremony will take place in early January 2026, where the ten award winners in as many award categories will be announced.
- Evaluation
All applications/nominations in each award category will be evaluated by the Awards Evaluation Committee, consisting of more than 50 personalities from the business world of Cyprus.
The Committee will vote on all candidates nominated and the four (4) highest scoring candidates in each category will be announced to the public for public voting, a process that will last two months.
The final award winners will be the candidates who receive the highest score in the public and jury vote (50%-50%), with the latter being asked to vote among the four finalists that it has selected.
Awards will be given in 10 categories:
- Tourism, Hotel, Leisure, Food and Beverage
- Construction and Real Estate
- Trading and Manufacturing (Retail Trade, Wholesale Trade, Manufacturing)
- Technology (Technology Companies, Software, Hardware, Telcos, etc)
- Services (Education, Health, Media, Communications, Advertising, Supply Chain and Logistics)
- Financial Services (Banking, Investing, Insurance, other financial services)
- Shipping
- Professional Services (law, accounting, consulting)
- Gaming
- Special Award Young Entrepreneur
