Shipping Deputy Minister Marina Hadjimanolis is in the UK to attend the London International Shipping Week 2025 at the invitation of her British counterpart.
According to an announcement by the Deputy Ministry, as part of her working visit, Hadjimanolis will participate in a panel at the 17th annual Capital Link Shipping & Marine Services Forum, where she will discuss shipping in a new era. At the same time, it adds, she will deliver a speech on the topic 'When Women Lead' co-organised by WISTA UK and Seatrade Maritime News, highlighting the role of women in the leadership of global shipping.
While in London, the Deputy Minister will host a reception at the High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus in London. In addition, she will hold a press conference on the advantages of the Cyprus Shipping Complex and its development prospects.
Hadjimanolis will also attend a dinner with members of the National Federation of Cypriots in the United Kingdom, organised in her honour, with the aim of promoting and highlighting Cyprus shipping.
During her visit, the Deputy Minister is to hold a series of important contacts to further promote Cyprus shipping, and also to support the country’s candidacy in the upcoming elections of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
